Amazon Prime Day is equivalent to an annual Summer ‘holiday’. Similar to black Friday but in July! July 15th and 16th to be exact, so mark your calendar and don’t miss out!
It’s a time for anyone who wants a great deal to get excited about. With so many parents like myself depending on Amazon for everything from diapers to strollers, why not save a little!

I literally can’t remember life before Amazon. Next day delivery + free shipping is music to any busy parents’ ears. Now add on extra savings and it’s a win win! The first Prime day was back in 2014 and they have made it bigger and better every year since then. So much has advanced from their product range to 2-hour delivery.
My only complaint is there is not a delivery option that will allow the truck to only come when your Husband isn’t home!!! Please add that feature for 2020, thanks Amazon! Check out my Amazon Prime Day shopping suggestions below:
- Make a list! Don’t fall into the sale trap and just buy something because it’s a great price. I’m guilty of this far too often and then realize I didn’t really need it. Make a list! - Watch for Lightening deals These are random deals that will pop up with a limited quantity every five minutes throughout the event. You can find these by going to Todays Deals and then clicking on the lightening deals on the left side.
- Turn on your notifications Found an item you’re interested in? Simply turn on your notifications and it will advise you when the deal is about to start.
