The Naples Zoo is one of our go-to spots for family entertainment while in Southwest Florida! When we want to take a break from the beach and pool rotation, we hit up the Zoo! The Naples Zoo is just the right size where it is not too overwhelming, and you can see all the attractions in one day. I found that this zoo is very interactive for my kids (ages 2 and 4) and it really grabs their attention. They had a blast not only seeing and feeding the animals, but also on the boat ride to Monkey Island!
The Zoo does allow you to bring outside food/drinks which is always a great way to skip additional lines. We were also sure to bring lots of water for the Florida heat.
The part we all loved the most was feeding the giraffe. Truly such an amazing experience. The giraffe come right up to you as you stretch out your arm to feed them some romaine lettuce. The feeding station is currently open daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Don’t miss this new elevated experience to be face-to-face with the world’s tallest animal! Masks are required for everyone 2 and up and everyone is required to use sanitizer before touching their food.
