It’s officially December and what better way to kick things into the Holiday spirit than a visit to Westchester’s Winter Wonderland, presented by Westchester Medical Center! This is a family tradition for us, so this year I have partnered with them to share our experience with all of you.
If you are looking for a fun, affordable way to spend some quality time with your family, then Westchester’s Winter Wonderland is just for you! This year is better than ever with live Reindeer, selfies with Santa, a Circus, toddler rides, ice skating, a light show & much more! This one-of-a-kind holiday experience is a MUST!
Not only do they have fun entertainment for the whole family but also some great food options. I was happy to see that their dining options have gone through a major change for the Winter Wonderland 2019 season. Individual Concession stands conveniently located inside the grounds selling all your favorite festival foods, snacks, dessert and beverages. The variety of concession stands provide fast and convenient service. Also, the heated Wegmans Dining Tent was an absolute life saver for us when we needed to defrost a little from the cold.
Some tips for making this more enjoyable as this is primarily an outdoor experience would be to overdress your kids with winter gear. You can always take things off if need be but better to be safe than sorry. Buy your tickets online ahead of time and save a copy to your smart phone. It’s a life saver instead of searching for papers or waiting in line with kids. This will allow you to skip the ticket line and go straight to admission!
Admission is a flat fee of $20 and includes all of the amenities such as ice skating (skate rental too!), admission to the circus, unlimited access to the rides, light show and much more. Kids under 3 years old are free! Plus free on site parking is a huge bonus too!
